A day trip to Ait Ben Haddou from Marrakech is an adventurous trip to the High Atlas Mountains. On this trip, you will explore the Atlas Mountains and enjoy panoramic views of the mountains. Day Trip to Ait Ben Haddou from Marrakech Itinerary:
After you have breakfast, we will pick you up from your accommodation and start our day trip. Thus, we will drive through the Tizi-n-Tichka mountain pass where we will stop for viewing panoramic views. Then, we will stop in Ounila Valley to visit Telouet Kasbah which is the home to the El-Glaoui and his family. He was the leader of the High Atlas region. Besides, we will stop at the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. This UNESCO Kasbah is the largest Kasbah in Morocco constructed with unique architecture. It has been appeared in numerous films, including Gladiator and The Mummy.
After you visit it and have lunch there, we will continue our way to Ouarzazate city. This is the Hollywood of Africa and the desert gate. In this city, you will visit another impressive Kasbah of Taourirt. It was built in the 17th century like a Palace with almost 300 rooms. Later on, we will go to Atlas Studios where you can see many materials and backgrounds they use in movies. Then, we will drive back to Marrakech through the Tizi-n-Tichka pass. We will arrive at your accommodation around 7:00 p.m. Finally, the day trip to Ait Ben Haddou from Marrakech ends there.
