3 Days Tour from Marrakech to Merzouga

Day 1: Marrakech _ Ait Ben Haddou _ Ouarzazate _ Dades Valley

After breakfast, we will leave from your hotel or riad in Marrakech and head to Dades Valley. First, we will cross Tizi-n-Tichka road on the Atlas Mountains. There, we will stop to have a chance to admire the Atlas views and take pictures at high altitudes. Thereafter, we will move to Ouarzazate city where to we stop to visit the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. UNESCO considered it as a World Heritage Site. It is also famous as the film set of many films, such as Lawrence of Arabia and Gladiator.

We will have lunch here before we continue our way through the landscapes and historical places. Then, we will visit the Kasbah of Taourirt in Ouarzazate and the Rose Valley. It is well-known for its rose farmlands and the Rose Festival, which takes place every year in May. Later on, we will pass through Berber villages of Skoura and Kelaa M’Gouna and we finally arrive at Dades Valley. The dinner and overnight are in a Riad in this Valley.

Day 2: Dades Valley _ Todra Gores _ Merzouga

From Dades Valley, we will drive to the Merzouga desert of Erg Chebbi. Thus, after you have breakfast, we will stop in the village of Tinghir and visit the Todra Gorges. It has rocky mountains up to 600m high where tourists take climbing activity. After visiting this valley, we will leave Tinghir and cross many Berber villages such as Touroug and Tinjdad where we will have lunch. Then, we will carry on our way to Rissani and to Merzouga where you will experience a camel trip. Hence, you will get on the camel and cross the beautiful sandy dunes of Erg Chebbi, You will arrive at the camp to experience the lifestyle of the nomadic. After dinner, you will be around the campfire to enjoy music with the team. An overnight is there, including dinner

Day 3: Merzouga _ Draa Valley _ Ouarzazate _ Marrakech

On this day, you will be woken up early by the camp team to watch the sunrise. And after having breakfast, you will return by camel or 4X4 car. Then, we will keep o our tour through the town of Rissani and Berber villages, like Alnif, Tazzarineand N’kob. Thereafter, we will reach the famous Dra valley and a valley with many kasbahs. Another stop for lunch is in one of these kasbahs in the Anti-Atlas Mountains. From here, we will drive to Ouarzazate via the pass of Tizi-n-Tinififft at 1660 towards Marrakech via another pass of the Tizi-N-Tichka. Finally, this will be the end of 3 days tour from Marrakech to Merzouga.
