4 Days Tour from Marrakech to Fes

Day 1: Marrakech _ Ait Ben Haddou _ Ouarzazate _ Dades Valley

We will start 4 days tour from Marrakech to Fest after you have breakfast. Thus, we will depart from your Riad/Hotel from Marrakech towards Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah and Ouarzazate. We will cross the High Atlas Mountains pass of Tizi-N-Tichka (2260m). This is the highest mountain pass in the whole of Morocco. On this road, we will make a stop for panoramic views.

From here, we will continue our way through the views of Ounila Valley and the Berber villages towards the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. It is a World Heritage Site by UNESCO and a destination where many films have been filmed, like Gladiator. Thereafter, you will visit some attractions of Ouarzazate like Atlas Studios and Taourirt Kasbah. Then, we will cross the Rose Valley. It is known for its handmade rose products and Arose Festival. Finally, we will continue the tour towards the Dades Gorges or Valleys where there will be dinner and an overnight in a Riad.

Day 2: Dades Valley _ Todar Gorges _ Merzouga

After breakfast, we will drive from Dades Valley to the impressive site of Todra Gorges. There, you will have enough time to walk for a while along the riverbank and enjoy the wonderful landscape of the high rocks. Besides, we will keep our way to Merzouga via the palm groves of this region. we will also make stops in these palm groves and villages before we arrive in Erfoud town. This a great town where you can explore marble workshops and dates market or Souk. Next, we will head to the Sahara of Erg Chebbi. Before we enter the town of Merzouga, we will stop for a panoramic view of the while dunes of the Sahara. Once in Merzouga, you will be in your accommodation where to have dinner and a night.

Day 3: Merzouga Desert Excursion and Camel Trip

This third day of 4 days tour from Marrakech to Fes will be the best in this tour. Thus, you will have a desert tour to discover the desert and experience a camel trip. On the desert tour, we will lead you along a way that was used in the Dakar Rally. And we stop at a viewpoint where you will admire a panoramic view of the desert of Merzouga. Thereafter, we will visit nomads who live in adobe houses and tents. Then, we will continue our way to the Mifis mines where they extract minerals.

After that, you will discover the village of Khamlia to enjoy their Gnawa music. In Khamlia, we will have Berber pizza and tea lunch. After we finish the desert tour, you will rest before you start your camel trip. You will go to the camp where to enjoy dinner and music and spend a night. 

Day 4: Merzouga _ Ziz Valley _ Cedar Forest _ Fes

On this last day, you will get up early morning to enjoy a sunrise near the camp. After breakfast, you will return by camel ride or car through the dunes again. Later on, we will continue our trip through Rissani and Ziz Valley. We will make a stop in this valley to take pictures of its landscapes. Furthermore, we will drive to Midelt for lunch before we reach Azrou. It offers a wonderful Cedar Forest where there are apes. From here, we will continue driving to Fes via Ifrane town. Then, we finish 4 days tour from Marrakech to Fes.
