7 Days Tour from Tangier to Marrakech

Day 01: Tangier – Tetouan – Chefchaouen

We will meet you in the airport or your accommodation and begin 7 days tour from Tangier. Therefore, we will drive you along the mountains of the Rif and stop to visit Tetouan city. After that, we will be in Chefchaouen and have lunch there. Later on, you can have free time to visit the blue city of Morocco. The city is easy to discover. You can visit its Kasbah, square time and walk through its old medina. There, you will have many chances to take wonderful pictures. Then, we will take you to a Riad where to spend the night.

Day 02: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Imperial Cities: Meknes and Fes

You will have breakfast at the Riad and then we will go to Volubilis. In this place, you will explore famous Roman ruins, including the remaining columns. Later on, you will explore the city of Moulay Idriss Zerhoun. This is a major pilgrimage site with a religious festival every August. Thereafter, we will be in Meknes city where you will explore the historical monuments. There, you will visit the gate or Bab El-Mansour near the square. Also, you will visit the Sahrij Souani, Moulay Ismail Mausoleum and other monuments. At the end of the day, we will be in Fes and spend the night in Riad.

Day 03: Day Tour in Fes

After you have breakfast in your Riad, you will have a tour around Fes with a local guide. You will explore the Royal Palace where you can take pictures of its huge gate. Then, you move to the Jewish quarter. It is the first Mellah that was built in Morocco. Also, the tour includes other cultural and historical attractions, like Al Karaouine University, the Tanneries and the Attarine Museum. After you enjoy lunch, you will visit the Bou Inania Madrasa, Gate of Boujloud and walk through the streets of the old Medina. You can see Moroccan products, such as slippers, leather and metal crafts and then you visit other sites. Overnight is in Fes.

Day 04: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Merzouga

After you enjoy your breakfast, we will leave Fes to Merzouga along the Atlas Mountains. We will make our first stop in Ifrane city. When you will walk around this city, you will feel like you are Switzerland that is why they call it the Switzerland of Morocco. Next, we continue our trip to Azou to visit Cedar Forest where you can see Barbary apes. After that, we have lunch in Midelt and pass through Tizi-N-Talghamt towards the Ziz Valley for panoramic views. Then, we pass the cities of Errachidia, Erfoud and arrive in Merzouga. In your hotel/Riad, you will be greeted with a cup of mint while you relax. The Dinner and overnight are in your Riad/Hotel.

Day 05: Merzouga Excursions

We will visit some desert places by car after you have breakfast. First, we will visit Khamlia village to explore the music and lifestyle of the Gnawa people. Then, we will head to an area where nomad families live. Nor far from them, there is another area to visit where locals extract mines. There, you will also enjoy a panoramic view. Later, we will drive back to Khamila where we will have lunch. Besides, we will visit an oasis and drive to your accommodation. The next excursion is a camel trip. Thus, you will mount your camels and cross the sandy dunes of the Erg Chebbi towards our camp. There, you will have time to enjoy the sunset, dinner and music. Overnight is in the camp.

Day 06: Merzouga- Todra Gordes – Dades Gorges

The camel guide will wake you up early to watch the sunrise over the Sahara. You will enjoy breakfast and then you will mount your camels and go back to Merzouga village. From Merzouga, we will leave to Rissani to explore a traditional lifestyle. Next, we will pass Tinjdad and stop in Tinghir town. A few kilometres from Tinghir, we will reach the Todra Gorges where the highest and narrowest gorges in the country are. Afterwards, we will keep our way to the Dads Valley. Here, you will see sandy castles and rock formations. Finally, we will be in a Raid where you will enjoy dinner and spend the night.

Day 07: Dades Gorges – Rose Valley – Ouarzazate – Marrakech

After having your breakfast, we will drive through the Road of a thousand Kasbahs. Then, we will stop at Kalaat M’Gouna which is known for Rose Valley. You can see rose water and many rose cosmetics and local products there. From here, we will continue driving to Skoura to visit mud-brick Kasbahs, such as the Kasbah Ameridil. We will have lunch there in a restaurant overlooking the valley of Skoura. Moreover, we will be in Ouarzazate or the Hollywood of Africa. Here, you can visit the Film Studios and visit the Kasbah Taourirt and Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah. Next, we will head to Marrakech via the Tizi -n- Tichka pass, enjoy panoramic views. In Marrakech, we will take you to your accommodation, and we end 7 days tour from Tangier.
