Day 1: Explore the old Medina of Fez

Fez city as the oldest imperial city in Morocco offers the oldest attractions. On this 5 days tour from Fes to Marrakech, you have a guided tour with a local guide. Hence, you will explore the two parts of Medina. There are Fez el Bali and Fez el Jdid and also the modern city of Ville Nouvelle with French influence. With your guide, you will spend half a day, exploring the attractions of Fes. You will start with the impressive Bab Boujeloud Gate and the Chouara tannery. 

Besides, you will visit the oldest university in the world, Al-Qarawiyyin University. Non-Muslims are not cannot enter, but they can view the decorative interior of the mosque. Later on, you will discover the Al Attarine Madrasa and visit where they make a mosaic of tiles. Then, you will visit Mellah of the Jewish quarter and cemetery. Day 2: Fez _ Ifrane _ Azrou _ Ziz Valley _ Merzouga Desert

After breakfast, w will start our tour from your Hotel or Riad. Then, we will head to Ifrane town known as the Switzerland of Morocco. You will visit sites like Stone Lion that is carved by a German soldier. Thereafter, we will cross the Middle Atlas mountain, making a stop in Azrou where you will see wild monkeys in Cedar Forest. And we will continue our trip to Midelt and stop in Ziz Valley. You will enjoy a panoramic view of palm groves before we will drive to Erfoud city and arrive in Merzouga. We will have a welcome tea in your accommodation and you enjoy dinner and night.

Day 3: Merzouga Excursions

In the morning, we will experience the best desert excursions in 5 days tours from Fes to Marrakech. You will explore and visit the desert towns starting with which Khamlia village. There, we will attend a Gnawa concert performed by a group of indigenous black Berbers from Sudan and Mali. Furthermore, we will continue our way to the nomadic area where we will have tea with them. Then, we will drive to the lake and black desert. In the afternoon, you will ride the camels and go on a camel excursion via the dunes and enjoy the sunset on the dunes. The Dinner and accommodation are in a desert camp where to enjoy music with a local team.

Day 4: Merzouga _ Rissani _ Erfoud _ Todra Gorges _ Dades Valley

Today, you can get up early and climb the highest dune to enjoy the sunrise. Next, you will have a shower and breakfast and return to Merzouga by camel or car. Thereafter, we will drive Rissani town to visit the largest market in this area. And we will continue on our way to Erfoud town where there is you can have a chance to visit the marble factory. From Erfoud, we will drive through the palm groves of Touroug and Tinijda and visit Todra Gorges. The Todra River has formed valleys in between high Rocky walls, which makes it a great place for a climber. We will have lunch there and walk along the banks of the canal to enjoy the views of the valleys. In the afternoon, we will continue driving towards the Dades Valley, where we will have dinner spend the night.

Day 5: Dades Valley _ Rose Valley _ Ouarzazate _ Ait Ben Haddou _ Marrakech

After breakfast, you will enjoy the views of the Dades Valley. On our way, many tourist kasbahs are lining on sides of the road. Next, we will continue through the Rose Valley and the great palm grove of Skora. We will visit this valley and head to Ouarzazate town to visit the Kasbah of Tourist. It is the former residence of Pacha Glaoui. After that, we will visit the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou which was declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco in 1987. Several movies have been shot such as Gladiator and Obelix. Free time to visit this kasbah and have lunch. Besides, we will continue our to Marrakech, crossing the road of Tizi- N-T’chka at 2260 m. 

We will enjoy a spectacular mountain landscape and Berber village before we arrive in Marrakech in the afternoon. Then, we will transfer you to the hotel or airport and we end 5 days tour from Fes to Marrakech.
