3 Days Tour from Fes to Marrakech Itinerary
Day 1 : Fes _ Ifrane _ Azrou _ Ziz Valley _ Merzouga desert
The departure of 3 days tour from Fes to Marrakech is from the hotel/riad after breakfast. After that, we will start our desert trip to Merzouga via the mountains. Thus, we will cross the Atlas Mountains, and we will stop to visit Ifrane town or Moroccan Switzerland. We will also make a stop at Azrou village. It is famous for its cedar forests and wild apes s that live there. Then, we will have lunch in Midelt town, and we will keep on our way to Ziz valley via beautiful views of palm groves. After enjoying a panoramic view of Ziz Valley, we will drive to Merzouga. Here, you will experience a camel trekking trip. The trip includes a night in Berber tents, dinner and also music around the campfire.
Day 2: Merzouga _ Rissani _ Todra Gorges _ Dades Valley _ Rose Valley _ Ouarzazate
After having breakfast, we will leave Merzouga and stop in Rissani. It is famous for its donkey transportation and active local market. When you visit the market, we will drive towards Erfoud. It is also known for its fossils. We can stop to visit the fossil workshop before continuing our way to Todra Gorges. This is an ideal place for climbers with high rocks. Once you visit this place, we will drive to the Rose Valley where to visit the rose water cooperative. You can discover how local people make rose perfumes or produce using pure rose water. We will finally end our day in Dades Valley where you will spend the night in a local Riad/Hotel. The dinner is also included.
Day 3: Ouarzazate _ Ait Ben Haddou _ Tizi N’Tichka _ Marrakech city
When you have breakfast, we will visit Ouarzazate attractions. Hence, we will visit Taourirt Kasbah and Atlas Studios. Besides, we will visit the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou and have lunch there. The kasbah was declared as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1987. After visiting the kasbah, we will continue driving along the High Atlas mountains. Then, we will stop to enjoy wonderful views of the Tizi-N-Tichka pass (2260 m). Next, we will drive through some Berber villages towards Marrakech city.
