2 days tour from Marrakech to Zagora is a short trip to explore another desert in Morocco. On this trip, you will experience a camel ride to the desert camp in Zagora. Before, we will lead you through the High Atlas Mountains to visit the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. Also, you will visit the Hollywood town of Ouarzazate and enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the Atlas Mountains and Draa Valley. However, if you still have more days, we recommend planning more than 2 days to explore other places.

2 Days Tour from Marrakech to Zagora Itinerary
Day 1: Marrakech _ Ait Ben Haddou _ Draa Valley _ Zagora
The morning after breakfast, we will start 2 days tour from Marrakech to Zagora desert. It is also also known as the door Desert ”. Therefore, we will cross the High Atlas Mountains ranges on the Road of Tizi-N-Tichka at 2.260m. When we arrive there, we will stop for panoramic views. We will also visit the magnificent Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. It is a sandy castle built in an almond tree field. It is so beautiful and has such a unique visual effect that it has even served as the setting for many famous movies such as Lawrence of Arabia” and Gladiator. Besides, it is a site in the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. It is the only kasbah in southern Morocco that keeps its original architecture.
Then we head south, crossing the Green Draa Valley that is the country’s largest river. We will arrive in Zagora in the afternoon and prepare for your next trip. The excursion will continue with a camel ride led by an expert Berber guide who will take you to the dunes to watch the sunset. After that, you will go to the camp and enjoy dinner and overnight with music.
Day 2: Zagora _ Ouarzazate _ Marrakech
Today, you have to wake up early to admire the sunrise and have breakfast. You will then return to Zagora on camels, and we drive to Marrakech. However, we will make photo stops in the most picturesque locations to capture the unforgettable panoramic view. Thereafter, we will stop again in Ouarzazate and visit the kasbah of Taourirt and Atlas Studio. In Ouarzazate, we will have lunch and drive to Marrakech in the evening.
